Q. Can the large bulging veins in the calves of the legs swell and bust?
A. It is rare for veins to burst. Sometimes from the result of injury the skin over the ankle veins gets very thin and irritated. Support stockings help with the heavy feeling in the legs as a result of the veins and also provide some protection for the veins.
